SYMPTOMS
- Leak observed in pump compartment from GPV filter fitting
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY UPLC H-Class Quaternary Solvent Manager (QSM)
CAUSE
GPV filter fitting seated incorrectly or damaged
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Remove the leaking inlet fitting.
- Make sure no object or frit is left inside GPV connection point
- reseat or replace the fitting if needed
- install the tubing and fitting correctly on GPV and make sure no leak observed anymore.
