IEEE Instrument not showing up in the Properties of the Node in Empower - WKB6810

SYMPTOMS

• Three of the four Alliance systems are listed in the Instruments Tab in the Properties of the Node
• Cables are connected and the power is on

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower
• 2695 Separations Module (Alliance)
• 2487 Dual-Wavelength Absorbance Detector

CAUSE

The IEEE address for the 2695 and the 2487 are both set to the same number.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Change one of the IEEE address to another number not used on any IEEE instrument attached to the Node.
