CAUSE

Dirty, contaminated, or defective flow cell

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Flush the flow cell with aqueous solvent (back flushing at low flow rate may be necessary)
2. After aqueous wash, clean flow cell with 25:25:25:25, Water:Methanol:Acetonitrile:Isopropyl alcohol
3. Verify functionality or replace flow cell as a billable consumable
