ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager error: "Sample Pressure Low" - WKB67000

SYMPTOMS

• Sample manager displays "Sample Pressure Low" error when attempting to inject.
  • Needle is not damaged.
  • Wash solvents are full.
  • Syringes were primed multiple times.
  • No leaks at wash manifold.
• Sample manager displays "Sample Pressure Low"  intermittently

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager 
• ACQUITY UPC² System

CAUSE

Weak wash syringe is loose and only filling halfway, or leaking (can be a very small leak).

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Tighten or replace syringe.
2. Run Wash syringe leak test.
3. Run Sample syringe leak test.
4. Run needle seal leak test.
