ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager fails system precision testing - WKB66992

SYMPTOMS

• System precision RSD > 0.5%
• System recently PM'd
• Needle and pod replacement does not fix the issue
• Fluidics drawer replacement does not fix the issue

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager
• ACQUITY UPLC

CAUSE

1. Bad column
2. VDD fitting at port 2 of injector valve is not at correct depth, or the fitting is worn out.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the column and rerun system precision testing.
2. Calibrate the VDD, and reseat the fitting to the correct depth.
