Under MassLynx, ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager does not inject - WKB66678

SYMPTOMS

• Using MassLynx, batch runs but Sample Manager does not inject

ENVIRONMENT

• MassLynx
• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager 
• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager - Flow Through Needle PLUS (SM-FTN PLUS)
• ACQUITY APC Sample Manager - FTN
• ACQUITY Arc Sample Manager FTN-R

CAUSE

The "No Injection" check box is selected under Advanced Settings in the sample manager instrument method window.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In MassLynx, open the Inlet Method window.
2. Click the "Autosampler" icon. The Modify sample manager instrument method window opens.
3. Click the "Advanced..." button. The Advanced Settings window opens.
4. Clear the "No Injection" check box selection, and click OK.
5. Click OK in the Modify sample manager instrument method window.
6. Save the inlet method and run your batch.
