Missing vial error on Agilent LC - WKB660

SYMPTOMS

• When a vial is missing, all Agilent LC systems except one abort the run; one system continues the sample set (instead of aborting)

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 1 (FR1)
• Four Agilent LC systems on the same LAC/E

CAUSE

The Autosampler setting is incorrect.

FIX or WORKAROUND

• Using the Agilent handheld controller (Instant Pilot G4208A), on the main screen, select More > Configure.
• From the tabs at the bottom of the screen, select Autosampler.
• Select "On Missing Vial"; you can select Continue or Abort.
