Agilent LC instrument failure when setting up method using a system with a G1330 or G7130- WKB65503

SYMPTOMS

• Newly created Agilent LC system in Empower
• "Thermostat Installed" and "Thermostat Controlled by Method" are selected in the Pre-Configuration Utility for the Autosampler
• Newly created instrument method

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Agilent Instrument Control Framework (ICF) Support Version 3.0

CAUSE

Temperature mode is not set in the control panel on the Run Samples screen, as instructed in TECN134909208.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Set the Temperature Mode to Variable in the control panel for the Autosampler.
