Troubleshoot carryover based on its location.

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC system
• 2695 Separations Module
• 2695D Dissolution Separations Module
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class
• ACQUITY UPLC
• Arc HPLC System

PROCEDURE

• Carryover found in the needle: Extend wash time
• Carryover found in the needle seal: Extend wash time/replace the needle seal
• Carryover resulted from cloth: Replace the cloth
• Carryover resulted from inappropriate needle wash: Adjust to appropriate needle wash
• Carryover resulted from obstructed needle wash: Repair
• Extend gradient wash time
• Rebuild the Seal Pack
• Carryover found in the injector pod: replace injector pod

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The new e2695 has improved carryover performance. You can update to the new Seal Pack if possible/necessary.
