SYMPTOMS

• Injected standards are approximately 50% of what is expected in height and area
• Retention time and reproducibility are less than 1% RSD  

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY Arc
• Empower 3

CAUSE

A 250-µL extended loop and a 250-µL syringe were installed without changing the programmed volumes in the console. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

Ensure that the volumes in the console configuration match those of the ACQUITY Arc configuration.
