With 2777 and HDX, sample syringe does not inject into the valve - WKB60132

SYMPTOMS

• When sample syringe should push sample into the injection valve, there is a grinding sound and no sample is injected

ENVIRONMENT

• 2777
• HDX
• HDX2

CAUSE

The rotor is blocked.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Clean or replace the rotor, 6-port LC valve (700002210).

• Valve for 2777 = 700011071
• Injection valve for HDX manager = 700005236

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

To troubleshoot, remove the syringe from its holder and fill it with solvent. Manually place it in the injection port and push the solvent into the valve. Actuate the valve from the handheld controller (or console for HDX systems) to test both load and inject position.
