SYMPTOMS
- During an injection, the 2487 does not switch wavelengths, even though the method is programmed to switch between wavelengths
ENVIRONMENT
- 2487 UV/Vis Detector
- 2487 firmware 1.02
- Empower 3 Feature Release 2
CAUSE
There is a memory issue with 2487 detectors. In Empower, programming of timed events stops working if the detector is not power-cycled.
FIX or WORKAROUND
Power-cycle the detector.
