For Classic ACQUITY UPLC

Replacing the Sample Metering Syringe

To replace the sample syringe:　

1: Go to the ACQUITY Sample Manager Maintain section located in the console.

2: Select Replace Sample Syringe.

3: Press next. The sample syringe moves.　

4: Unscrew the small screw located at the bottom of the syringe.　

5: Install the new syringe securing it with the screw at the bottom and ensuring that the syringe is screwed all the way in to the coupling valve.　

6: On the console, press Reset.　

7: Ensure that you prime the syringe several times and perform a sample syringe leak test.　

8: If you are exchanging the size of the sample syringe, ensure that you update this in the console under configuration sample and loop volumes.
