SYMPTOMS
- 2695 Separations Module is not communicating with Empower 3
- 2695 Separations Module does not show up in DHCP

- 2487 Dual-Wavelength Absorbance Detector
CAUSE
The Ethernet cord between the Alliance and the Ethernet switch box is bad.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Replace the Ethernet cord between the instrument and the switch box.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When troubleshooting, check the Ethernet switch box. If a green light is not present on the Ethernet switch box where the Ethernet cord plugs in, try a new Ethernet cord.
