Shifting retention times on ACQUITY I-Class - WKB49914

SYMPTOMS

• Shifting/unstable retention times in chromatographic run
• During dynamic leak test, primary/accumulator pump A or B  unable to compress
• Dynamic leak test fails with too high leak rate on primary/accumulator pump A or B

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class BSM
• ACQUITY APC Isocratic Solvent Manager

CAUSE

Leaking pump

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Rebuild failing pumphead on pump A or B
   • Primary Rebuild kit (Part number 700010583)
   • Accumulator Rebuild kit (Part number 700010584)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Primary pump head or seal wash plate to be considered if replacement seals fail. (WKB20628)
