• FTN fails needle seal readiness test when using an extension loop.

CAUSE

Within the extension loop, there could be an acute decrease in pressure as the valve rotates between the load and inject positions. This causes a negative result on the needle seal readiness test.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Remove the extension loop from the FTN before starting the needle seal readiness test.
2. Update the volumes for the extension loop in the sample manager console.
