SYMPTOMS
- "Energy Too High" error appears in Empower message center
- Instrument failure noted in the Run window of Empower
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY Arc 2998 PDA Detector
- Empower 3
CAUSE
Air bubble in the flow cell
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Power-down the detector.
- Flush the flow cell with 100% methanol at 1 mL/min for 10-15 minutes.
- Reboot the detector.
