SYMPTOMS
- Error: Sample pressure low
- Starting a run causes the error when injecting
- Trying to run diagnostic tests causes the error
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY UPLC I-Class SM-FL
CAUSE
A sticky sample residual on the needle and in the needle wash port causes the low sample pressure when running sample and when performing diagnostic checks.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Thoroughly clean the needle and seat port assembly with organic solvent.
- Perform diagnostic tests for the SM-FL.
