Error: Sample pressure low on SM-FL - WKB300244

SYMPTOMS

• Error: Sample pressure low.
• Starting a run causing the error when injecting.
• Trying to run diagnostic tests causes the error.

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class SM-FL

CAUSE

There is a sticky residual from sample on the needle and in the needle wash port causing the low sample pressure when running sample and when performing diagnostic checks.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Clean the needle and seat port assembly thorough with organic solvent.
2. Perform diagnostic tests for SM-FL.
