OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Connect PEEK tubing to the PDA inlet using a PEEK compression screw and ferrule.

ENVIRONMENT

• Waters PDA instrument, all models

PROCEDURE

1. Slide the PEEK compression screw and ferrule onto the end of the tubing.
2. With one hand, push the tubing into the PDA inlet as far as it will go.
3. Hold the tubing in the inlet, keeping pressure on it so that it doesn't back out at all.
4. With the other hand, tighten down the compression screw.
5. This seats the ferrule in the inlet, at the correct distance from the end of the tubing.
