CM-A programmed column temperature applied to all columns - WKB2998

SYMPTOMS

• The programmed column temperature set point is applied to all column positions in the Console.
• Temperatures expected to be different for each column.

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY H-Class Column Manager-Active (CM-A)

CAUSE

Temperature preferences are not properly configured in Console.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Go to Console.
2. Select CM-A in instrument tree.
3. Configure > Temperature Preferences.
4. Choose Selected column only.

5. Specify the temperatures to maintain the other columns.
   • Last set point
   • Off
   • 4 ^oC to 90 ^oC
6. Click OK.
