SYMPTOMS
- "Data buffer overflow" on the front panel
ENVIRONMENT
- 2489 UV/Vis Detector
- Firmware 1.41
- Empower 3
CAUSE
PCS 30743
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Use the "reset detector" function in the Run Samples control panel for the detector.
- Ensure that the rest of the system is also in a ready state.
- Reboot the computer and the 2489.
- Upgrade the firmware when possible.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This issue is corrected in the 1.65 firmware and later
- This defect also effects firmware versions previous to 1.65 for the ACQUITY PDA and TUV detectors
