Low pressure with ACQUITY Sample Manager - WKB277887

SYMPTOMS

• Error received when attempting to prime wash syringes: "Sample pressure low [value]; possibly no wash solvent or needle damaged"
• Solvent pooling under Sample Manager
• No solvent puddles in sample compartment; sample needle is not bent
• Priming wash solvent does not clear error

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPC² System
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class

CAUSE

Broken and/or leaking wash syringe

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the wash syringe. Part 700006070 (SYRINGE, 2.5 mL, INVERTED) is used for both UPC² and I-Class SM-FL.
