OBJECTIVE or GOAL
Configure an Agilent GC system so that it can be used with or without the headspace sampler.
ENVIRONMENT
- Agilent GC
- Empower 3
- ICF 3.0
PROCEDURE
To do this with ICF 3.0 you must reconfigure the Agilent Pre-Configuration utility every time you want to switch between using the headspace and not using it. Prior to ICF 3.0 you could create two different systems and leave one of them offline when you use the other. This is not possible with ICF 3.0.
