"Lamp lighting failure" on 2475 Fluorescence Detector - WKB26621

SYMPTOMS

• "Lamp lighting failure" error message
• Flow cell cleaned and flushed; error still present
• All fuses checked and OK
• A lot of noise
• Lamp allowed to cool to room temperature before relighting the lamp

ENVIRONMENT

• 2475 Multi-Wavelength Fluorescence Detector

CAUSE

1. The lamp has failed.

2. The lamp PSU has failed.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the lamp (201000131).

2. Replace the lamp PSU 700004124 ASSY PSU XENON/MERCURY LAMP 150W
