nanoACQUITY error "Pump A: Pump HW over pressure" - WKB26611

SYMPTOMS

• Error "Pump A: Pump HW over pressure" appears as soon you switch from trapping mode to analytical
• Removing the Analytical column, Trapping column, and Sample Manger out of the flow path doesn't help
• Removing the Flow Controller doesn't help; after reconnecting, the error reappears

ENVIRONMENT

• nanoACQUITY UPLC
• ACQUITY UPLC M-Class

CAUSE

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Connect Magic Mix with 1% FA and flush the system for 12 hours.

2. Flush back system to first 50:50 MeOH/H₂O for 12 hours.

3. Flush back to customer solvents.
