Alliance 2695 fails compression test - WKB262017

SYMPTOMS

• Pump unable to prime 
• Leak in the primary pump head's check valve housing

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC System
• 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

Cross-threaded check valve housing is causing a leak, preventing the pump from priming. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the check valve housing (700002332). 
2. Tighten all fittings and tubings along the flow path. 
3. Prime the pump and perform the compression check with a column.
