When trying to remove the pump head from a 2695, an error message states that pump head removal cannot be supported - WKB25941

SYMPTOMS

• "Pump head removal cannot be supported at this time" — error message seen after pressing the button to remove the pump head on the front panel of the Alliance 2695 Separations Module

ENVIRONMENT

• 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

Too much pressure is detected in the pump.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Loosen the compression screw on the top of the pump head.
2. Hit the button again on the front panel of the 2695 to remove the pump head.
3. Proceed with pump head rebuild.
