ANSWER

The main difference is in wetted materials. Bio versions use titanium where standard versions use stainless steel. All the instrument specifications are identical.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Research papers suggest that titanium is susceptible to methanol attack to various degrees depending on condition. It is thus advisable to avoid 100% methanol contact in Bio systems. See the following extract from the ACQUITY UPLC H-Class Bio System Guide:
