2475 error: Multiple errors on initialization - WKB257375

SYMPTOMS

• Calibration unsuccessful
• Excitation peak out of range
• Improper flow cell contents possible
• Unable to calibrate or normalize
• Sample energy is 0 
• New lamp does not resolve

ENVIRONMENT

• 2475 Multi-Wavelength Fluorescence Detector

CAUSE

The wrong firmware is loaded. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Install the correct firmware.
2. Perform wavelength calibration.
3. Calibrate PMT.
4. Normalize.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Similar errors are seen if the 2475 firmware is loaded on an ACQUITY FLR.

The current 2475 firmware is v2.2 and is bundled with all driver packs since 2018R1.

The current ACQUITY FLR firmware is 1.69 and is bundled with all driver packs since 2017R1.
