ACQUITY H-Class QSM becomes stuck in "Setting Up" phase - WKB25697

SYMPTOMS

• System becomes stuck at "Setting Up" phase when injection is made
• Flow and composition can be programmed from the console and Run Samples but can be very slow or unresponsive
• Starting an injection or sample set does not initialize pump flow or composition

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class

CAUSE

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Run stopAcquity processes - see WKB13593
2. Open Waters DHCP server: C:\Program Files\Waters Instruments\Waters DHCP Server Configuration.exe
3. Remove all addresses listed and close.
4. Open Task Manager.
5. Go to Processes.
6. End Process of the WDHCPServerSvc.exe.
7. Open C:\Program Files\Waters Instruments.
8. DHCP.XML needs to be renamed. (We suggest adding a number to this name to show how many times it has had to be renamed.)
9. Open Waters DHCP Server Configuration.exe.
10. Cycle-power to all ACQUITY modules and reboot all modules.
