ACQUITY UPLC BSM fails the accumulator dynamic leak test - WKB255725

SYMPTOMS

• DLT failure; unable to compress on the accumulator
• DLT failure; leak rate too high
• Replacing seals/pump head/wash housing/check valve brings no improvement 
• When plugging the transducer outlet, the leak test passes

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC BSM
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class BSM

CAUSE

The tubing between the transducer and the vent valve is leaking

FIX or WORKAROUND

Replace the tubing.
