SYMPTOMS

• Sample Manager gives "Sample pressure too low" error during injection

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC Sample Manager 
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class Sample Manager - Fixed Loop

CAUSE

The sample syringe is not primed well or has air in it.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Prime the sample syringe for 40 cycles (do not include the wash syringes for this prime).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It is recommended that the sample syringe be primed 10-20 cycles daily, before starting the instrument.
