ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY UPLC BSM
- ACQUITY UPLC H-Class Quaternary Solvent Manager (QSM)
- ACQUITY UPLC I-Class Binary Solvent Manager
CAUSE
Seal wash tubing is damaged/crimped or loose.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Remove the seal wash tubing from the seal wash housing. Use small, flat pliers to remove the tubing if not possible to get it out by hand.
- If the tubing is just loose and no visible damage then refit making sure the tubing pushes all the way in to the housing, it will feel like a click when fully in.
- If the tubing is long enough and only damaged on the end, cut the damaged part of the seal wash tubing and reseat the tubing.
- If the tubing is so damaged that it's not possible to remove the damaged part and reseat it, replace the tubing (700003751 - TUBING,3/16"OD X 1/16"ID,TYGON 2275,25").
