What is the power-on order for modules of ACQUITY UPLC and ACQUITY UPLC H-Class? - WKB236466

Article number: 236466

ENVIRONMENT

  • ACQUITY UPLC
  • ACQUITY UPLC H-Class
  • 30-cm Column Heater (30cm CH)
  • Column Manager (CM)
  • Sample Organizer (SO)

ANSWER

Basically, the order is as follows.

■ H-Class
When using 30cm CH:
30cm CH → QSM/FTN in no order → PDA
When not using 30cm CH:
QSM/FTN/CM in no order → PDA

■ Original UPLC
When using 30cm CH:
30cm CH→SM→BSM→PDA
When not using 30cm CH:
Those with built-in SM or CM hub → BSM → PDA

*In any system, first determinbe whether the built-in switch (hub) or an external switch is used.
Check the back of the instrument; if it has multiple LAN ports, it means that the built-in switch is used.
If using the built-in switch, power-on from that module to ensure recognition of other modules.
* 30cm CH is an accessory of the SM, so it starts before the SM. SO starts after SM.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
