Seal wash tubing leaks on Alliance 2695 - WKB233538

SYMPTOMS

• Seal wash tubing leaks in the seal wash port into the pump head during priming 
• Cutting the tubing does not help
• Replacing seal wash seals does not help WKB194332
• Resetting the head and plunger assembly does not help

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC System
• 2695 Separations Module
• 2695D Dissolution Separations Module
• 2795 Separations Module

CAUSE

Head and plunger seal failure

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Rebuild the pump (PM Kit, Alliance Solvent Manager, part 700004073).
2. Back-pressurize the seals. 
3. Perform the static leak test.
