SYMPTOMS

• Instrument power lights do not come on

CAUSE

Inadequate lab power where the instruments are plugged into the wall circuit or power strip

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Swap out the surge protector or battery backup and plug into the wall directly, or use an extension cord and plug into another circuit known to be working to test.
2. Have a licensed electrician check the power output from the problem outlet.
