CAUSE
Inadequate lab power where the instruments are plugged into the wall circuit or power strip
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Swap out the surge protector or battery backup and plug into the wall directly, or use an extension cord and plug into another circuit known to be working to test.
- Have a licensed electrician check the power output from the problem outlet.
