Dynamic leak test fails to system - WKB230018

SYMPTOMS

• Dynamic leak test passes to pumps A and B 
• Dynamic leak test fails to system

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY Premier BSM

CAUSE

The compression fittings on the tubing from the vent valve to the tee (700012721 - TEE, TITANIUM, V-DETAIL, .010 ID) can no longer be tightened to pass the dynamic leak test. Visible leak at connection to tee. 

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Verify that the dynamic leak test to the system fails after tightening the compression fittings on the tubing from the vent valve to the tee.
2. Replace tubings from the vent valve to the tee, from P5 to tee (part 700012720), and/or from P2 to tee (part 700012719).
3. Verify that the dynamic leak test to the system now passes. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Ensure that all tubings that are in the leak test flow path are filled up (loosen the blocked point and bleed some solvent out).
