ACQUITY BSM solvent line is often empty - WKB228093

SYMPTOMS

• Any solvent line is empty (filled with air) after not using the system for a while

ENVIRONMENT

• ACQUITY UPLC BSM
• ACQUITY UPLC H-Class
• ACQUITY UPLC I-Class

CAUSE

The tubing from the solvent line is not correctly or tightly enough fitted into the degasser chamber.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Refit or retighthen the tubing so it is leak-free again.
2. Prime the corresponding solvent line.
