SYMPTOMS
One or several of the following error messages accompanied by red light on detector status indicator:
- UV or VIS lamp current is missing
- UV or VIS lamp voltage is missing
- UV ignition failed
- UV lamp Ignition Failed: No anode current sensed just after UV lamp ignition during ignition cycle
- UV lamp heater current is missing
ENVIRONMENT
- Agilent 1260 Infinity I DAD and MWD
- Agilent 1260 Infinity II DAD
- Agilent 1290 Infinity II DAD
CAUSE
Faulty lamp.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Replace the faulty lamp.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Note that newer lamps have a different RFID tag that may require the detector have firmware. If the lamp has an RFID tag, ensure that the DAD firmware is A.06.55/B.06.75/C.06.75/D.06.78 or higher.
- Refer to the specific model code operator/service manual for part numbers.
