Alliance 2695 Separations Module carousel lags - WKB19868

SYMPTOMS

• During initialization and position selection, carousel lags, skips, or is slow
• Sample compartment floor and bottom of trays are free of dirt and foreign matter (ref. Error: Carousel Carrier Malfunction)
• No error occurs

ENVIRONMENT

• Alliance HPLC System
• 2695 Separations Module

CAUSE

The carousel drive shaft is worn and slipping.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the Carousel/Carriage Drive Assembly, PN WAT270928.
