SYMPTOMS
- ACQUITY Arc column oven was set to 60 ℃, but the highest temperature observed over 2 hours' monitoring was only 58 ℃.
ENVIRONMENT
- ACQUITY Arc 30cm Column Heater
CAUSE
The stainless-steel tubing from port 6 of the injection valve on ACQUITY Arc FTN to the column heater was improperly installed, due to which the column heater door was forced to leave a big gap there.
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Reinstall the stainless-steel tubing from FTN to the column heater.
