Communication Error for ACQUITY PDA only - WKB1916

SYMPTOMS
- ACQUITY console communication error for the PDA
- PDA showing two green LEDs
ENVIRONMENT
- Empower 3 SR2 HF 1
- Driver Pack 4
CAUSE
- Corrupted PDA Driver
FIX or WORKAROUND
- Ping to the IP address, reply.
- Find PDA serial number using Loader executable.
- Uninstall PDA driver. Go to Windows Start > All Programs > Empower Folder > Remove Instrument Component Software.
- Power-off ACQUITY stack.
- Restart the PC.
- Reinstall Waters Driver Pack 4, specifically PDA 1.60.
- Restart the PC.
- Wait for the OS to fully start.
- Power-on ACQUITY stack, waiting 45 seconds between each component, and starting with the instrument with the hub built-in.
- Confirm proper communication.
