OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Set up an Agilent G7102A or G4260B with Empower.

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Agilent 1260 with G4260B ELSD
• Agilent 1290 with G7102A ELSD

PROCEDURE

1. On the www.Waters.com site, see TECN134960784.
2. Install the required Agilent drivers listed.

• Agilent ELS detectors must meet minimum firmware requirements.
• The customer needs appropriate cables (RS-232, LAN cable, trigger signals, and others), depending on instrument model (see guide).
• Agilent document G7102-90200 (see below) guides the customer through installation and configuration.
