- Yes. If you don't meet the minimum software requirements to control the e2695 over Ethernet, you can control it over IEEE.
- Even if you meet the minimum requirements, having other instruments already running over IEEE would be another reason to use it.
- Communication over Ethernet is supported with versions of Empower greater than Empower 2 Feature Release 5.
- MassLynx software uses only IEEE to control the e2695.
