OBJECTIVE or GOAL
Enable the recycle solvent feature for control by Empower software.
ENVIRONMENT
- 2414 Refractive Index Detector
- Empower 3
- 2695 Separations Module
- Alliance HPLC System
PROCEDURE
- Connect the I/O cables to the back of the 2414 in the following configuration:
- Connect the I/O cable to the back of the Alliance in the following configuration:
- Set the recycle function to "LOW" on the 2414 front panel:
- Configure the Alliance instrument method in Empower to include an event for desired recycle time using Switch 1 (times in picture are for reference only):
