"Unknown peak" and "Missing peak" when processing in Empower - WKB16191

SYMPTOMS

• "Unknown peak" and "Missing peak" for just one peak in review window when processing an injection
• Must constantly update processing method to update retention time

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 2 

CAUSE

RT window (set to 2%) is too narrow.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Edit the processing method and increase the RT window to 3% or 5%, which is the default.
2. Save the processing method.
3. Reprocess.
