SYMPTOMS

• Low system pressure
• Pump is leaking solvent
• Solvent is dripping from chassis
• No visible source of leak
• Noisy baseline

ENVIRONMENT

• 515 HPLC Pump
• 1515 Isocratic HPLC Pump
• 1525 Binary HPLC Pump

CAUSE

Leaking high-pressure filter assembly (pulse dampener) behind front panel

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Replace the high-pressure filter assembly. 700002742 (515, High Pressure Filter Assy).
