Waters has developed a Support Layer to facilitate control of ACQUITY UPLC systems on SCIEX OS. The latest version is below along with the supported Waters Instrument Control Software.

- Please note that Classic ACQUITY systems have not been tested with SCIEX OS and therefore is not supported. We have, however, received reports of successful deployment from the field of Classic ACQUITY systems on SCIEX OS.
- nanoACQUITY systems have also not been tested with SCIEX OS and therefore is not supported
- SCIEX OS does not currently support 2 optical detectors within the same system
- SCIEX OS supports switching between analytical and microscale LC systems using the ACQUITY Inlet Switch Utility
- When upgrading from Analyst to SCIEX OS using the same PC, a reimage is required prior to installation
- Installation of Analyst and SCIEX OS on the same PC is now supported with Support Layer v2.0.0
