"Peak location not near 397 nm" error message with 2475 FLR detector - WKB119714

SYMPTOMS

• Error message: "Peak location not near 397 nm"
• Cleaned the flow cell with methanol, then flushed the flow cell with water for additional 10 minutes; error remains and wavelength is only 390 nm

ENVIRONMENT

• 2475 FLR Detector

CAUSE

Faulty flow cell

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Unscrew the in- and outlet tubing (green mark)
2. Release the 3 screw (red marks) - they cannot be removed completely.
3. Replace the flow cell (205001034). 
4. Flush the new flow cell with HPLC-grade water.
5. Perform normalize unit on the detector.
