SYMPTOMS

  • Leaking seal wash line between primary and accumulator

ENVIRONMENT

  • Alliance HPLC System
  • 2695 Separations Module
  • 2695D Dissolution Separations Module
  • 2795 Separations Module

CAUSE

  • Seal wash line is worn out and crimped.
  • Blockage (kink or bent) found within the waste line

 

FIX or WORKAROUND

  1. Cut off the ends of the seal wash line to create good contact into the seal wash housing.
  2. Prime the seal wash and check for leaks.
  3. straighten the waste line

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

If the tubing has been cut back multiple times it may need replacing (WAT270988)
